About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our financial control, managing group-wide incentive cycles, and ensuring the accuracy of our core accounting operations. Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Control, Audit & Analysis
- Statement Review: Assist in reviewing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) prior to management presentation.
- Reconciliations: Perform independent checks and monthly reconciliations between operational reports and financial books to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Audit & Compliance: Help gather documentation for external audits, maintain strong internal controls, and assist with due diligence requirements.
- Profitability Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of client, project, and departmental profitability to provide actionable strategic insights.
2. Group Incentive Management
- Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end incentive process across the Group of Companies—from data extraction to final payout submissions.
- Performance & Forecasting: Monitor program effectiveness, provide growth trend reports to Management, and assist in budgeting future payouts for cash flow optimization.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all incentive schemes adhere strictly to approved company policies.
3. General Accounting & Operations
- Day-to-Day Accounting: Support General Ledger tasks (expense tracking, fixed asset schedules, transaction coding).
- AP/AR & Cash Flow: Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and conduct bank reconciliations to monitor daily cash flow.
4. Ad-Hoc & Regulatory Support
- Agency Compliance: Provide occasional support for government transactions and represent the company during on-site visits to agencies (e.g., BIR, SEC) as needed.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Execute other operational, financial, or administrative tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in general accounting or financial analysis.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet formulas in Excel and Google Sheets (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables).
- Solid understanding of core financial statements (IS, BS, Cash Flow).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and organizational abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Compliance & Processes: Basic knowledge of internal controls, corporate compliance, and local government agency processes (BIR, SEC).
Nice-to-Haves / Advantages:
- Experience with QuickBooks (QB) or other cloud accounting software.
- Background in multi-entity or group incentive management.
