Objective:
The Livestream Admin is responsible for overseeing the execution of live streaming sessions, ensuring a smooth flow of the session/event while supporting hosts and engaging the audience effectively. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changes in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
Act as the director for live sessions, ensuring a smooth and engaging livestream.
Monitor the performance metrics in real-time, using dashboard data to inform decisions and direction during the livestream.
Host Support:
Guide hosts through scripts and product details, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident.
Quickly address any gaps in host delivery or product information.
Communication:
Maintain clear and effective communication with hosts, project managers, and team members.
Coordinate with the team before, during, and after the live event to ensure all details are covered.
Flexibility and Problem Solving:
Demonstrate agility in responding to unexpected issues, such as negative comments, equipment failures or sudden schedule changes.
Implement strategies to maintain viewer engagement during low periods or technical difficulties.
Detail Orientation:
Ensure accuracy in promotional messaging, product information, and technical aspects of the livestream.
Conduct thorough pre-live checklists, real-time-report and post-event analytics to assess performance and improve future sessions.
Technical Proficiency:
Have a deep understanding of livestreaming platforms, technical requirements, and dashboard metrics.
Record and archive sessions for future reference and analytics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; further education in media, communications, or a related field is a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in a livestream or digital content environment preferred.
Familiarity with streaming platforms and technology (e.g., OBS, and etc.).
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with using camera, lights and lapel microphones.
Proficient in computer skills and software. (e.g., excel, ms word, gdocs, and etc.)
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
Other Requirements:
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, graveyard and weekends for livestream events.
Willingness to engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
