Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis reports to management.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
Coordinate and manage external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Cash Management:
Oversee cash flow management, optimizing working capital and liquidity.
Monitor banking activities and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually enhance financial processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
Proven experience (3+ years) in a senior accounting role, with a track record of successful financial management.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
