Key Responsibilities of Accounting Assistant:
Assist with daily accounting activities, including data entry, recording transactions, and maintaining financial records.
Prepare and process invoices, bills, and receipts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding accounting issues or discrepancies.
Support the accounting team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting or finance or relevant course.
Proven work experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
