Position Overview:

The Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of the company's operations, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

    • Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare financial forecasts and projections.

    • Provide strategic guidance to senior management on financial matters.

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:

    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Present financial information to senior management and the board of directors.

  • Cash Flow Management:

    • Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company's financial stability.

    • Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital management.

    • Manage banking relationships and debt facilities.

  • Risk Management and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

    • Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

    • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.

  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.

    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance team.

    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
